All Green Points are designated by the Green Building** Council. Also your
county or state evaluation board may designate a minimum amount requirement
for Green Building in your area. AKDUCT and QADUCT has been identified by
our estimations to provide a sum of 14 points within the LEED criteria.
Due diligence is required on your part to identify those points and
qualify them to your specific building project and Green Point Rater (3rd party).
**
Green building” means a whole systems approach to the design, construction,
location and operation of buildings and structures that helps to mitigate the
environmental, economic, and social impacts of construction, demolition, and
renovation. Green building practices recognize the relationship between the
natural and built environments and seek to minimize the use of energy, water,
and other natural resources and promote a healthy, productive indoor
environment.
